Product
What is Dactic?
Dactic is a context layer for AI agents. It combines your company's data (CRM, project boards, documents, email) with the unwritten know-how of the people who do the work. It then deploys agents that do the work the way your best people already do it. Dactic is a Valere company.
What is the "80% efficiency gap"?
Off-the-shelf AI agents can finish about 80% of a task on their own. The last 20% is the judgment, the exceptions and the unwritten rules, and that's where people still have to step in. Dactic closes that gap by grounding agents in how your business really operates.
What can I build with Dactic?
Any agent for work your team already does by hand. Common examples are lead triage and follow-up, proposal and contract review, estimation, task routing, client onboarding handoffs, invoice processing and other back-office work. You can start from pre-configured agents or design your own from your team's context.
Does Dactic replace tools like monday.com, Claude or ChatGPT?
No. Dactic sits between your tools and your AI. You keep your current systems and workflows, and the agents you already use get the business context they're missing.
How is Dactic different from a consulting workflow study?
A consulting study delivers a slide deck once, and it goes out of date. Dactic delivers working agents, keeps their context current with scheduled refreshes, and costs a fraction of a typical $300,000+ engagement.
How is Dactic different from building our own AI agents?
Building agents in-house means engineering time, prompt tuning, and ongoing work to keep the agents' knowledge current. Dactic handles capturing the context, grounding the agents and refreshing them. Your team focuses on the outcomes instead of the infrastructure.
Who is Dactic built for?
Operations leaders who want agents that understand the business, without needing a dedicated engineering team. Admins, data teams and security teams stay involved through governance controls. Dactic fits companies of about 10 employees up to large enterprises.
Do I need technical skills to use Dactic?
No. You sign in, connect your tools, and answer a few short interview questions. Deploying an agent takes one click.
Onboarding and implementation
How does onboarding work?
There are four steps:
- Connect your workspace tools.
- Dactic maps your documents and data against how work actually flows, to catch exceptions.
- Short, focused interviews capture the knowledge that isn't written down anywhere.
- You deploy pre-configured agents into your workspace with one click.
How long does it take to see results?
Your first live agents launch during onboarding, not a quarter later. The initial data sync usually takes minutes.
How long are the interviews?
They're short and focused. The first is a brief questionnaire about your role and how success is measured. After Dactic analyzes your data, a follow-up interview fills in the gaps. Plan on about 30 minutes per role in total.
What does onboarding include?
Discovery, connecting your sources, analyzing them, the interviews, and your first live agents. Onboarding is included with every plan.
How much time does my team need to spend?
Very little. Dactic reads your existing files and systems where they already are. Each person only needs to do their short interviews. Admins review and approve agents before they go live.
Technology
How is Dactic different from standard RAG?
RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) pulls chunks of text out of documents. Dactic builds a knowledge graph that covers both your documents and your team's unwritten context. It filters out noise, learns your company's own terminology, and flags where sources contradict each other. Each agent gets only the context it needs for its task.
How does Dactic handle large or messy documents?
A supervisor agent splits large files among specialist sub-agents that work in parallel. Long documents never overload a single model's context window. Irrelevant content is removed automatically, which also keeps token costs down.
Which AI models and agent platforms does Dactic work with?
Dactic isn't tied to one model or one agent platform. Today you can deploy agents with one click into monday.com and Claude. The context Dactic builds is stored in an open, portable format that works with other leading models and agent frameworks.
Which tools does Dactic connect to?
Dactic connects to Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Chat), monday.com and Slack. It reads your files where they already live, so you don't need to move anything into new storage. Enterprise plans can add custom integrations.
Do you support Microsoft 365, Notion, Jira or other tools?
Support for Microsoft and more work tools is on the roadmap. If a specific integration matters to you, tell us during your demo. Enterprise customers can request custom integrations.
What are "Goal" and "Loop"?
Goal is the outcome an agent is set up to achieve. Loop is the ongoing refresh cycle: Dactic regularly re-reads your sources and updates every live agent to match how your business currently runs.
What is refresh cadence and why does it matter?
Refresh cadence is how often Dactic updates your agents' context. It's every 30 days on Launch, 14 days on Growth, 7 days on Pro, and daily or continuous on Enterprise. Launch and Growth also include on-demand refreshes. Regular refreshes stop agents from working with outdated information as your processes change.
How do you prevent agents from making things up?
Agents only work from context that comes from your own connected sources and interviews. Dactic flags conflicting information, and you can see which agent produced which output. Admins approve every agent before it's deployed.
Can I see what my agents are doing?
Yes. Dactic shows you each agent's output and the task it came from. Pro and Enterprise plans add advanced analytics.
Pricing and billing
How much does Dactic cost?
There are four plans, each with a simple monthly subscription:
- Launch: $750/month (10 employees, 25 agents)
- Growth: $2,250/month (50 employees, 120 agents)
- Pro: $6,450/month (150 employees, 360 agents)
- Enterprise: custom pricing for more than 150 employees
What counts as an "employee under management"?
Any team member whose knowledge and workflow are captured in Dactic. We price on the value we deliver, not on raw usage.
What happens if we outgrow our plan?
You can upgrade to a higher plan at any time to add employees, agents and faster refreshes. Contact us and we'll help you find the right fit.
Is annual billing available?
Yes. Pay for 12 months upfront and take 15% off any plan. Ask your solutions engineer when you book a demo.
Is there a free trial?
Book a demo to see Dactic work with your own context in a 30-minute working session. Ask your solutions engineer about trial options.
Can I cancel?
Plans renew automatically. You can cancel with 30 days' notice before your renewal date. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise or your Order Form says so.
How does Dactic compare in cost to consulting?
The Growth plan costs about $27,000 a year, roughly a sixth of a typical $300,000+ consulting engagement. Unlike a study, it doesn't go out of date.
Security, privacy and data
Where is our data stored?
Your knowledge base is stored on Dactic's secure infrastructure, hosted on AWS, not spread across outside file systems. Dedicated VPC and data-residency options are available on Enterprise.
Is our data used to train AI models?
No. Dactic never uses your content, interviews or knowledge base to train any public or shared AI model. Our model providers (Amazon Bedrock and Anthropic) process your data only to produce results for you, under contracts that prohibit training on it.
How is our data protected?
Your data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS). Each customer's data is kept separate. Privileged actions are recorded in audit logs that can't be altered, and we run regular access reviews and security testing. Personal identifiers are redacted before indexing, and each agent receives only the information its task requires.
Is Dactic secure enough for enterprise use?
Yes. Enterprise plans include SSO/SAML/SCIM, dedicated VPC isolation, governance audits and immutable audit logs, so Dactic can support regulated work.
Does Dactic keep copies of our emails and files?
No. Raw content from your connected sources isn't kept after it's filtered. Dactic keeps only the processed knowledge it needs to power your agents. You own all of your data and everything Dactic generates for you.
What happens to our data if we leave?
When your account is deleted, your content is permanently removed within 90 days. Encrypted backups are cleared on their normal rotation schedule.
Is Dactic GDPR and CCPA compliant?
Dactic supports the rights to access, correct, delete, restrict and export your data. International transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses, and a Data Processing Agreement is available. We don't sell or share personal information.
Governance and control
Who controls what agents can do?
You do. Agents are built only from context your admins have approved, and they launch only after review. You set each agent's scope and permissions and can change them at any time.
Can admins manage agents across the organization?
Yes. Admins can see every member's agents, update instructions, trigger manual refreshes, and upload company policies. Changes roll out automatically, and no one has to log in to individual accounts.
Support and company
What support is included?
Launch includes email support. Growth adds priority support. Pro adds a named customer success manager and dedicated onboarding. Enterprise adds a dedicated technical account manager and optional change management. You can check system status anytime at status.dactic.io.
Who is behind Dactic?
Dactic is built by Valere, a Boston-based custom software development company. For anything beyond agents, such as custom applications or process consulting, the Valere team can help.
